happy valentine's day, everyone 💙💙💙
i wanted to release this song today not because it is made of, with, or for love. it's actually because of the opposite. this song is about where i was about two years ago exactly, as my then-partner was hiding a lack of genuine affection with a facade of intimacy to our friends. i hoped for the best, but got little of what i wanted, let alone needed. this is to all the people who were told merely there dreams were sacred, and i hope that you start the journey to learning that your reality should be sacred to you as well. all my love 💙💙💙
